Answer
Dear Leo,

This Orthopedic Chicago Podiatrist located in West Loop 60661,Roscoe Village 60618, Elmhurst 60126 & Bartlett 60103 says...
For your knee pain---I am unable to help you except advise for the pain---Icing as much as possible & wear a knee support with a cutout for the knee cap until you are able to have someone local look at it. Move it gently after rest to loosen up some stiffness from the arthritis.
You need an opinion from an orthopedic surgeon. They will give you the best advice after they see you.
If you do not have insurance-then go to a teaching university. It may take time to see either or-but the wait will be worth it.
Hope this helps & Good Luck!
