Question
Hi,

I am currently 46 years old but still very active and fit as I have been my whole life. When I was a teenager I had an offroad motorcycle accident that left my left leg a bit shorter than my right. I am now starting to have lower back problems regularly which is a result from the shorter left leg. What options do I have to sort the problem out?

Answer
It depends on the difference in the length.  If it's less than  one half inch, you can get a lift to put in shoe.  If it's more than one inch, you can get an inside lift and then either build up one shoe or cut down the other to even out the length.

I had the exact same problem and did the lift inside and a a cut down on the longer leg shoe and it worked out find and the back issues were helped.

You might want to ask for physical therapy and they can give you more options as well.
