Question
My husband 58 has had a total right hip replacement and two revisions in two years.  His last revision the ball  went through his pelvis bone and cadiver bone had to be used. This next surgery will be a cup cage cup.  Need to know if anyone has information on a very good surgeron on this proceedure.

Answer
Dear Diane,

This Orthopedic Chicago Podiatrist located in West Loop 60661,Roscoe Village 60618, Ukranian Village 60622, Elmhurst 60126 & Bartlett 60103 says...
For the revision hip surgery. Do not be afraid to ask the doctor how may he/she has done & what is the complication rate & what would he/she do in case of the complication. Look around in the waiting room & see the demeanor of the patients. Are they happy? Don't be afraid to talk to someone in the waiting room & ask what they know about the docs.
Start with an orthopedic group that has hip surgeons. Don't be afraid to get more than one consult. You will be able to decide based on the above.
Hope this helps & Good Luck!
