Should one wash their new shoes before wearing them like washing new clothes?

Usually customers wear socks-If you suspect that the shoe was tried on by another customer-then it may be appropriate to spray the shoe with a disinfectant spray similar to the ones at bowling alleys. For sure spray any used shoes!
