Question
I have a question about back braces. My work is requiring us to wear back braces. We do a lot of heavy lifting, but the lifting we do requires bending and stretching in different ways to place the part where it goes. Would a back brace actually help in these situations? Thanks alot.

Thanks for writing!

Whether or not a back brace would help under this situation depends on the person wearing it.

If one drinks no water and lives on Diet Pepsi and Cheesse Crisps, nothing will help.

With adequation water intake and nutrition, they would probably help. But, if worn too much, they will weaken the back and cause other problems.

Loosen it when you are not lifting.
