Military neck?

Question
My 19 year old daughter gets headaches almost EVERY day. She went to her GP, of course he just gave pain killers but told her to see chiro, where on xray found out that she had 'military neck' , also this chiro scared my daughter because he told her she also had something called 'angel wings' and that if a procedure wasn't done right, a 'wing' could break off and she'd have a stroke. Needless to say my daughter was terrified and never went back, even after the chiro told me that if he made an adjustment to her neck and a 'wing' broke off, that it would 'just sit there' HUH? He lied to me, so I'm not messing around with my daughters neck. Please help, I don't know where to turn. THANKS

Answer
I don't know exactly what the "angel wings" are, but I use a chiropractic technique that specialized in cranial (head)issues, we have great success in migraines, headaches, ADD, etc.  There doesn't have to be any "neck adjustments" with this technique.  The military neck could be a reason for the headaches, but it is most likely due to the occiput (back of the skull) being locked on the first vertebrae.  There are not many chiropractors that practice this technique, it is specialized.  If you are interested, go to www.sorsi.com to locate a doctor near you.  I suggest at least talking to one of these doctors in person to see what they can do for your daughter.  I am in St. Paul, Minnesota and would be happy to see you.  If you have any other questions please email me.
