Back pain after cracking back

Question
I'm a 15 year old male, and for about a year, I twisted my spine left and right to make it crack, much like one would crack their knuckles. I stopped a few months ago. In retrospect, yes, it was very dumb, and a few days ago, my back started feeling a bit stiffer than usual, and I have a slight pain when I turn left or right with my legs still. Will this likely go away, or will I have to go see someone about it? Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it.

Thanks for writing!

The twisting and cracking of your back that you did has nothing to do with your present pains. They would hve come on even if you did not crack your back. In fact, the fact that you felt the need to crack your back leads me to believe that they were already coming on when you cracked your back!!

There is a good book out there by Dr. Batmanhelidj, on Joint and back pain. Get a copy of that and follow the directions. It will cure you if you will do what Dr. Batman says.

If not, go to www.sorsi.com, www.icak.com, and www.soto-usa.com and look for a good chiropractor near you. They can investigate and get to the root of the problem and fix it safely and without undue pain.

At your age, it is a really good idea to get this corrected one way or the other. It will save you thousand of dollars and year of pain and disability in the future.
