Question
I work 12 hour shifts and spend a lot of time walking on rocks.  I have a boot made for rock with a wide bottom which distributes weight but my feet still get sore.  Because of construction we will be having more rock brought in.  Question:  does walking on smaller rock suit better or larger rock?  I'm thinking that a smaller rock would give more under your feet.  What do you think?  Thank you

Damn, so do I. 20 years and counting!

Mine is a combination of asphalt, rock, sand, hills of both, and a lot of heat and humidity.

I wear Redwing shoes, safety and Dr. Sholls heavy-duty foot inserts. It is like walking on cushions all day long.
