Question
I had 2 neuromas removed surgically 6 months ago and have severe pain in operated foot. Steroid injections have not helped nor has topical Neurontin-Ketamine gel topically. What ios your experience with cryo Rx? How many patients like me have you treated and what are the statistical results? What is your ex[ereince also with the likelihood that acupuncture might help?

Answer
Hi Madalayn,

Sorry to hear that you are having problems after your neuroma surgery.

Unfortunately, this is a common problem that people have and they often require cryosurgery for relief. Removal of the nerve can lead to chronic foot pain even with the best surgeon and a perfect removal of the nerve.

I have had a few patients that have gotten some relief from acupuncture but they still need further relief and they end up having cryosurgery.

Cryosurgery is the way to go.  I can't tell you that everyone gets relief but I have certainly provided many of my patients with significant foot pain relief.

Sincerely,
