Question
my left foot has been giving me a lot of trouble for about a year. I have had exrays which show nothing. I am able to walk and everything and some days it feels not bad but usually after a days work I have a 40 min ride home and it seems to seize up and i get sharp pains throughout the whole ankle area. I then have a hard time putting weight on it and hobble around like i'm 80 instead of 54. Help

Answer
Hi Denellda,

I would consider having an MRI of the foot and ankle.  There may be abnormality of the joint or possible inflamed tendons.  You may benefit from an orthotic device or an ankle foot orthosis.  In some cases physical therapy may start the recovery process.
