any cure 4 heel fat pad atrophy?

Question
I have been told I have a heel bruise and that the fat pad on my heel is virtually gone and there is no hope except stem cells, possibly silicone injections. I'm wearing a heel cup but at times it does nothing to stop the pain.  Is my only hope cloning my fat cells and regrowing the fat pad?  What about graft jacket?

Answer
HI Gabriel,

There are several options for fat pad atrophy.  There are silicone injections and various newer fillers that are used in cosmetic surgery such as Restylane.  Some drs are having success with graftjacket however I don't believe that this material is adequate for restoration of the fat pad.  I would find a podiatrist that does the fillers to relieve your pain.
