Question
Hi, I'm currently experiencing pain on the top of my right foot. If I wiggle my toes, it hurts on the metatarsal area. If I curl my toes the whole side hurts. It's not red or inflamed. When I get up after sitting for a while the area makes crackling noises (as if i was cracking my knuckles). It hurts all the time and the Dr. I saw told me to ice. It still hurts. Any thoughts?

Answer
Hi Maura,

It sounds like inflamed tendons in your foot. If it is still bothering you I would seek another opinion from a podiatrist.
