Question
Sir,
I wanted to know whether a general surgery specialist specialised in paedriatic sugery has the knowledge and expertise to diagnose and interpret the cysts and infections of testis in teenage males and young adults, because one of my cousin aged 18 years was having pain in testis and he had consulted a surgeon specialized in paediatric surgery instead of a urologist. He was diagnosed with epidydymatis by the surgeon and gave medications.Does the general surgeon have only same expertise as a general physician regarding this matter or is he capable of diagnosing infections and cyst on testis.
please reply"
