Left foot pain

Question
I have been having pain on my left foot for about 2 weeks now. It is on the left side (outside) of the foot. It seems to be in the middle and maybe a little on top. I can walk just fine for the most part with out pain. The only time I notice it is if I put pressure on that side of the foot. Like if I cross my legs when on my side sleeping or if I bump it. Like I said I can walk most of the time with out any issues, I do feel it everyone once in awhile when walking but only for a couple minutes. Thank you

Answer
There's a strong tendon that inserts right into that area, which may be inflamed.  A short course of OTC anti-inflammatories may solve the problem, if not, consult with a podiatrist.

All the best,
