I have noticed that my foot are becoming discolored or dark in some area of my bottom feet and also my toes are blue in color at the bottom. When i move my toes or feet to stretch it feel like it is in flames or am stretching something that is not healed. sometime i can feel when my blood circulating.  my Next to my ankle i see by vien so dark blue on both my feet. specially when i am in a seating position, driving, wearing shoes it gets worst. Pain area just below the toe, middle of bottom foot. my question for you what can it be? I do have a desk job and i don't put pressure on my foot. It also hurt when i am mentally stressed out.

Answer
Hi Joe,

If your toes are turning blue, purple or dark you need to see a podiatrist and likely a vascular surgeon immediately.  This could be a condition known as Raynaud's in which case you may benefit from seeing a rheumatologist to investigate the underlying causes.
