My sons 45 has had foot problems since he was a teen.He had surgery when he was in his twenties on one foot,it didnt work. Now his feet are awful .He cannot put his feet to the floor.Crunched his toes up so long that his feet are deformed.Dont know where to go from here.I fear he s going to end up crippled ,his knees are already giving him problems. What should he do.His doctor just cuts the calluses off and says there is nothin that can be done. Can you tell us what can be done if anything.

Answer
Dear Helon,

This Orthopedic Chicago Podiatrist located in West Loop 60661,Roscoe Village 60618, Elmhurst 60126 & Bartlett 60103 says...
When there are failed foot surgeries involved-you need to see a podiatrist who specializes in these kind of cases. Seek a consult from a Board Certified Podiatrist who has done reconstructive foot & ankle surgery-like the podiatrists at AnkleNFootCenters.com-who are specialists in orthopedics & surgery of the foot & ankle.
Good Luck!
