Question
A few months ago a ladder was dropped on me.  It ended up hitting my head and upper back.  A week later, I started having numbness in my right arm.  Over the past few months, I have started having pain in my upper back and in the back of my neck as well as more numbness and pain that comes and goes in my right arm, shoulder and wrist. To add to it, I had carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand 5 months before the accident. What kind of doctor should I see?

Answer
Missy,
You need to see an Upper Cervical Specific Doctor of Chiropractic.  They will evaluate your Upper Cervical Spine and adjust if necessary to re-align the head and neck where the Brainstem resides.  This is usually the cause of your symptoms and many other health problems as well.  Therefore, you may get a 2 for 1 and have something else clear up with the symptoms you are attributing to the injury.

For a great referral, send me your town and state and I will reply to you in a couple of days with at least one contact.
Please keep in mind that I only recommend "the best of the best doctors" and that there are only a few hundred of us in the world, therefore you may have to travel for this care, but it is WELL worth it.

Yours in Best Health,
