Question
I suddenly came down with a thunderclap of a headache, and I would swear I was dying. after an MRI, and a CT if my Brain then a Spinal Tap to rule out a bleed they did a MRI of my cervical spine and found 2 herniated discs at c3 and c4 i am still having these terrible headaches.  even thou my headaches do not fall under any of the symptoms of migraines thats what I am being treated for.  is it possible for the herniated discs to be causing these severe headaches?  And I feel it necessary to mention that when the spinal tap was done it on set the same EXACT severe headache that brought me to seek medical attention, does this mean anything?

Answer
Yes it does Rira,

Towel traction done by a DC will reduce the herniations without surgery and the headaches should be gone in a couple weeks or less, Check around to local Chiropractor's until you find one that utilizes TT and you should have this decompressed in short order. Biomechanical fixes are needed for biomechanical problems, no pill, shot or rehab will decompress a disc, only hands on towel traction is effective.

Good Luck!
