three dislocated disc

Question
I have three dislocated disc pinching the c-6 and c-5 nerve on my neck that causes numbness on my right forearm. I'm wearing a neck brace, does the neck brace help the disc return to it's normal position? if not what is the treatment suggested?

Answer
The neck brace may help a little but probably won't return the disc to its normal position. Try conservative treatments like physical therapy and chiropractic care before opting for more invasive procedures. Conventional treatments typically include manual therapy, traction, exercises for postural correction, and in some cases spinal manipulation.

I would find good physical therapist or a chiropractor who specializes in rehab to put you on a treatment program to help with your disc problems. You have a bulging or herniated disc rather than a "dislocation". I'm assuming you already had an MRI. If not, that should be your first step before seeking treatment.

Good luck!
