Question
My wife woke upthe other day to find the top of her foot infront of her 2nd,3rd,and 4th toes kind of black & blue and very sore, plus she said it feels like a charlie hosre on the bottom. she is a diabetic. do u have any ideas?

Answer
Hi Laina,

I would see a podiatrist as soon as possible.  It may just be a bruise but since she is diabetic I would be sure that there is nothing more serious happening.  Many people with diabetes have numbness and have injuries to their feet without being aware of what happened.  She will need to make sure that there is no circulation problem to the toes.
