Question
I am 55 years old male. 10-15 hours daily routine of administration, teaching and research since last 10 years. Feel always fatigued and painful muscles specially, calfs, heal(left leg), knee(right leg), ankle(both legs) and tarsal(both foot) joints. Heavy analgesics used including panandol, naproxin sodium, diclofenic sodium, even celebex (cns acting analgesic, ibuprofen. In addition, ointments and gels are also used. Now pain persists 24 hours. Raising on foot after sleep is painful to stand on foot. Please advise and suggest medicine.

Answer
Dear Sir,

No medicine is appropriate for your condition, as it results from muscular tensions and soreness.

You must undergo a kind of training program to gain the ability to relax the involved muscles of your lower leg, and likely, also, the muscles of your back (if you have a forward, sway-back posture that puts excessive strain on the fronts of your feet).

Please see the information at somatics.com for an understanding of the approach.

Sessions with a clinical somatic educator are your easiest and fastest option; a self-help program is also available.  See the blue navigation bar at the top of somatics.com pages for access to this information.
