chest pain in the middle

i am a 46 year old woman and i am suffering from a slightly acute pain across the middle of my chest and when it happens i feel very restless. The pain sometimes shifts down to my stomach. however when i drink something chilled and then i burp out loud i feel at ease for sometime. what should i do about it?
it has been happening since last 2 years

I really can抰 diagnose over the internet, and nobody should try. You need to go be assessed by a qualified physician.

I could guess that you might have Gallbladder issues if the pain generally happens after eating. If this is the case you could relieve the pains a bit by reducing fat in your diet and eating smaller more frequent meals, but you sill need professional medical assessment and treatment as a Gallbladder problem can become acute and potentially life-threatening and require emergency surgery.

If the pain gets worse or feels like a crushing chest pain, or like someone is sitting on your chest, or you feel any shortness of breath, then you need to call 911 and go to the ER immediately.
