Question
Are you familiar with Dr. Brown's protocal using minocycline for treating scleroderma?

Do you know of a scleroderma specialist in Southern California who uses this protocal?

Answer

Yes.

No, but you can check with the Road Back Foundation to see if they know someone.  www.roadback.org

FYI, a recent open-label study found that minocycline wasn't effective in scleroderma.  http://tinyurl.com/cejd5
In a larger, earlier study minocycline was shown to have a mild anti-inflammatory effect in early RA patients.  It's up to you and your doctor whether the risk of the therapy is outweighed by the benefit.
