Question
Thank you.
Well,I don't have arthritis but my maternal grandmother does(it's osteoarthritis I think),and it's quite excruciating.
Could you please tell if knee replacement surgery will do her any good?
Maam,I have a request besides.Could you please give me your email address?

Question -
Does arthritis have any cure in India? How can the pain be relieved? Thanks.
Answer -
Dear A Verma,   There is NO CURE for arthritis ANYWHERE in the world....  Pain is relieved by arthritis anti-inflamatory medication and either over the counter pain relievers or prescription pain medication...

thank you,   karen

Answer
Dear A Verma,  Not all people with osteoarthritis are candidates for knee replacement surgery...  She needs to go to an Orthopedic/Surgeon specialist to see if she is a candidate for this procedure....

As for giving out my e-mail address, I do not do that... People are free to reach me here, but not at home....

thank you,   karen
