Question
I started cracking my fingers when I was like 8 and now I am 16 years old. Now, my fingers have fat size at joints and one finger has turned a little left and shape of the skin at joints is very bad. Is this a kind of arthritis?

Answer
Cracking your fingers does not cause arthritis. This is an old wives tale. It is typical to have a finger or two that is turned one way or the other and it is also typical for fingers not to be strait.

Many people have finger joints that are larger than other peoples. This is not a sign of arthritis.

The shape of your skin has nothing to do with arthritis.

You need not worry.
