Question
First let me state I cook for a living.. Second.. I've been diagnosed with Tendonitis/Bursitis in my left shoulder and SI joint problems (also left) .. Now here's my problem.. for almost a week now I've been experiencing major pain in my knuckles(near palm) in my left hand only the middle-pinky. First few days I could barely make a fist.. I can now make the fist but the fingers/knuckles ache. According to an MRI of the spine I've been told I don't have arthritis (by my wonderful Dr (yes this is sarcasm)

Answer
An MRI of the spine won't tell you if you have arthritis in the hands.  Osteoarthritis is more likely to be in only one side.  Other things like rheumatoid arthritis or fibromyalgia are usually bilateral - in both sides at once.  Since your hands are the way you make your living, find another doctor and continue to pursue a diagnosis for proper treatment.
