Question
Hi, My son has the developmental disability of PDD-Nos.  His neurologist noted that the posture of his knees turn in.  Is there any intervention that can be done for 2.5 yr old to straiten his legs?

Answer
Hi James,
I would suggest an orthopedic pediatric referral, most likely from a teaching hospital if that is available to you. I could find no specific orthopedic treatment guidelines of children with PDD-NOS, so I would think they could be treated with the usual pediatric orthotic devices. I have included a link that talks about in-toeing and out-toeing and there is also information on this site about other orthopedic pediatric conditions.
