Question
Dear Sir,
First Time my Left Shoulder got Dislocated was 13yrs back and since then frequently it happens,(once in 4 Months) Now i am quite used to it.I am planning to have surgery to arrest this problem.Please guide as what should be the permanent solution and any side effects to doing so...

This is a great article I have found for you.
Some of the surgeons around here have use a procedure called thermal capsulary surgery...basically they have a thermal heat source and during surgery they touch it to the shoulder muscles that have become "stretched" and much like a slice of bacon in a pan...what happens? it shrinks right...so this is what they hope the rotator cuff (shoulder) muscles will do. I don't know if the article mentions this or not. It is mainly used for a condition called multi-directional instability of the shoulder, which can lead to chronic dislocations
