Foot Blisters?

Question
I have "blisters" on the bottom of my feet, on the soles. I thought it might just be the shoes i was wearing until it keeps spreading. It doesn't itch, no smell just hurts after a long day. It's not getting any better and I'm constantly walking back and forth at work. I checked into Athlete's foot and it doesn't look like that, but maybe there is different kinds! Don't have insurance so I really didn't want to go to a doctor. Any ideas? Thanks!

Answer
Hey Michelle

Athletes foot is a definite possiblity. Buy lamisal and spread it over your entire foot every night. Allow time for it to sink in the skin before you walk on your feet. Also, every time you take a shower, wash your feet with soap. This will also get the fungus under control.

You did not say if you are wearing sandals or shoes with socks. If with socks, throw the cotton socks away and buy propolylene socks from Cabela's and/or Under Armor. Both stores are on the internet. They wick the water away from your skin so your feet stay dry all day. Cotton socks HOLD the water.

Hope this helps. Have a great weekend.
