Question
david, i work in concrete and sometimes when product gets to the skin on my feet, they become very dry and crack if i don't remember to rinse them with vinegar asap.  theyu are already cracked now, worse than usual, and i wondered if you could point me on the right track to healing this mess.  thanks for your time   sincerely, randy

Answer
Hello Randy

Yea, the concrete sucks all the water out of your skin.
When you wake up, put some desitin on your feet (diaper rash ointment) before you put on your socks. It will put a waterproof barrier against your feet and the concrete. Your feet will stay moist longer and the cracks and dryness will go away. Be sure to wash your feet with soap every night to get rid of any concrete dust on your feet.

If your hands are going thru the same thing, do the same for your hands before you put your gloves on. I work in construction, I bought nylon gloves so I could wash them once a week. Leather held everything so it made my hands crazy with problems.

Go on the internet and look for gloves used for handling glass.

Hope this helps. Have a great weekend.
