Question
for the past year my on the bottom of my big right toes there is a small flat round spot that i can feel its the same color as the toe the spot has been feeling tingley bt not numb it happens on and off sometimes it last for months then stops for months then comes again for months but the spot is always there and i do not wear tight shoes or do any running exercises. why does it feel tingley and what to do about it.

Answer
HI,

This may be a simple variation of a callous on a high pressure area of the toe.  When the pressure increases you may get tingling from nerve compression.  The first step is to check your shoes for fit and I would also see a podiatrist to evaluate the problem.
