Question
Dear Dr.
My husband is suffering from a pain in his heal specially at the morning when he wakes up and when he sits or stands for along time. he went to Doctor and he diagnosed him to have plantar fasciitis.

I have two questions:
1. What are the most efficient ways to treat it?
2. Do you think that Foot Massage Machines can help to decrease his pain?

Best regards
Dima

Answer
Dear Dima,

This Orthopedic Chicago Podiatrist located in West Loop 60661,Roscoe Village 60618, Elmhurst 60126 & Bartlett 60103 says...
The most effective treatment for plantar fasciitis is to stretch the calf and arch daily, lose weight, wear supportive shoes-or come see us. In the meantime Google plantar fascia & calf stretches.
The Foot Massage Machine will feel good-but not be therapeutic without the above.
Hope this Helps & Good Luck!
