Question
I was in a lot of burning/throbing pain -teeth pulled. I and was taking Loritab & 3 advil every 4 hours for 3 days with amoxicillon. Then saw the dentist, had infection. Given penicillin, took oxycodone/3 advil 2 days. I was not eating much (yogurt/crackers/a little broth and liquids).  I am getting on the meds slowly not as the pain has slowed down. I am spot bleeding now though and my stomach is still sickly. What did I damage in my body by these medicines?i

Hi Debbie and thanks for writing,

You will not damage your system by taking analgesics for a short period - you only risk liver damage if you take excessively high doses for a long time.

Don't worry and take what you need to be comfortable.
