Question
I am asking this question here for lack of a better catergory....hope you can help...

My husband has been experiencing sevear headaches localized on only the left corner of the back of his head....and only in that place. This pain occurs only when we are having sex and always right before orgasm. It has happend once durring what he calls a life threatening experience, I suppose the addrenaline rush caused the same rush of blood to his brain....anyhow, this has been going on for 3 weeks now and it is getting worse. The only thing we can relate to it is that he has stoped drinking coke every day. Could the two be related and if so how should he go about safely resolving his head pain? He doesn't get headaches any other time, doesn't have a Hx of headaches and is otherwise a very heathy and active 23 year old man with no previous injury to anything. Any advice you can offer would be great. Thank you!
Sara

Answer
Hi Sara and thanks for writing,

I really can't imagine that the headaches are related to giving up Coke, especially the way you describe their onset. You really should advise your husband to be examined by his physician to make sure it's nothing serious.

Sorry I can't be more help, but I do wish you all the best,

Margot
