Question
Almost a year to the day I had a Hysterectomy along the same line as my Caesarian 13years ago. Before that I had several Laperoscopies. I am now having pain just below my bellybutton. I hurt when I go to the toilet, when my legs are stretched out, I can even place my finger on the spot where it hurts.  I'm wondering will this go away with exercise or should I be investigating more.  Thanks for your time.

Answer
Hi Michelle

Thanks for your question. I would suggest you go to the doctor and be checked, and get advice on how to proceed. Significant pain a year after a hysterectomy seems excessive.

I have heard that strengthening the abdominals after a hysterectomy or Caesarian is difficult.

Please send a follow-up if needed or after you get some feedback from the doctor.

Thanks
