Question
could you kindly explain what the term "permanent and stationary"as it pertains to a disability.i was hurt on the job.and after a year or so of dr. visits,this was what i was told and in return what was reported to the ins. co.the injury was to my lower back which causes pain and dumbness which travels down my legs.i guess i am trying to find out what this evauation means in reguards to my future. thanks so much for giving of your time to strangers.god bless.

Dear Jillian,

The term, "permanent and stationary", means that your medical practitioners believe there is nothing more they can do and that your condition will not improve.

That said, there is still reason for hope of improvement, as medical methods conventionally employed have certain limitations not shared by other methods.
