shoulder and neck pain

Question
Please help, I am a 22 year old, and a few months ago I was riding my bike to work. As I was going through a cross walk a lady was turning right and looking left and hit me on my left side, it was a large SUV and hit me right on my shoulder. At the time I was in pain all over and bruised but no broken bones only torn ligaments in my ankle. Within the past few weeks my shoulder has been getting progressively worse. It is a constant pain in my left shoulder and up my shoulder blade to my neck. Also shooting pains up into my brain, I get severe migraines and end up crying in bed all night. What can I do to stop this pain. I live in Canada and don't have benefits so i can't afford all of these expensive chiropractors or massage therapists? Is their anything I can take to stop this pain?

Answer
Hi Melissa,

Sounds like a personal injury case to me, shouldn't cost you a dime. Get a lawyer, they work on contingency on PI, and sue the driver. The only way to get this fixed correctly or any help at all is to see a doctor. Ice down everything that hurts, this will help the pain. You need a doctor, get one through the lawyer or your own auto insurance since it was auto related. Doesn't matter that you where on a bike.
