is it normal to have tingles and weird numb like sensations with a back or neck injury. I was in an accident and I keep feeling new pain and numbless. I getting a litte freaked out, my question is"Is this normal and will it stop?

No it is not normal, but it is a sign that there is nervous system interference.  You will need to go to an Upper Cervical Specific Doctor of Chiropractic.  This is the person that can help you to get well, and without the use of harmful drugs or surgery.
