Question
A little history:
Iam a 20yr old female, and moderatly active. I was shopping one day and put my groceries in my back pack and biked 7km home, my shoulders ached, my back ached and the back pack was a good 40-50lbs. Three days later my lower back hurt, and progressivly got wrose. There were times i couldnt sit for more than 30mins, and times when i couldnt walk. This was back in october. i waited it out till december, i was feeling fine, just very stiff. Then i jarred my back twice to regain my balance after slipping on ice.

I couldnt sit for more than an hour at this point, wasnt as bad as when i first injured my back. I went to the doctors and perscribed me Tramadol/Acet and (sandoz) Orphenadrine. I have been on them for 5 days, and when i take them the base of my spine is really painful, it only makes the pain more intense. I still get sharp pain.

Should i ask for stronger meds or is this telling me something else? There is also a soft lump and feels numb at the base of my spine.

Thankyou for your time.

Answer
Kerry,
What you need to do right away is to stop taking those deadly drugs that don't help you to get well anyhow, and get under the care of an Upper Cervical Specific Doctor.  This is the only doctor in the world with the training to locate and correct nerve flow interference at the brainstem level.  If the mental impulse from your brain are not getting through to your body can your body function properly?
Of course not, and taking drugs to shut off pathways does not ever correct that cause.
If you would like a high quality referral from me personally, then send me your town and state so I can see if I can find someone for you.
