Answer
It is very difficult to give you a precise answer with that little information and with a proper exam, but I will give it a shot.  It sounds like a strained muscle or muscles.  But, as simple as that sounds, if you don't get some attention to that, it could progress to continuous ache, pains, difficulty walking or playing, and later on in life arthritis effects.  Think of it as a car, once one thing gets out of line, other things start to get effects, until many things need replaced and cost you more than if you would have fixed the first thing that went wrong.  The only thing is you can't replace the things in your body, you can only correct the problem and hopefully prevent further problems.  I strongly suggest seeing a chiropractor.  I am biased because I am a chiropractor, but I have also been in the medical field and know that the medical field is one dimensional, give medicine.  A chiropractor will treat the actual problem, and with continued treatments, prevent further problems.  I know it can get expensive, but a lot of chiropractors will work with your budget, all you have to do is ask about it.  I am located in Minnesota and would be glad to help you.  If you are not, go to www.sorsi.com to find a chiropractor near you.  I am a part of this group and would trust any of them treat me or my family.  If you have any other questions or concerns, please email me, and you and your family have a safe and healthy Holiday.
