Disc Tears and Bulging Discs

Question
In July 2006 I was dx with annular tears of L4-5 and L5-S1, both bulging discs. I experienced severe pain radiating down my leg to my foot, which burned. This subsided with chiropractic tx, however I have not been pain free one day since 2006. My original back injury was in 1991, where I had fallen down wet cement steps on the small of my back.
My chiropractor indicated that surgery would not fix my issue and my PCP was on the fence. I have had spinal injections ( 6x) and PT actually aggravated it. Any advice, suggestions. Is it possible for this to heal on its own?

Answer
Disc tears and bulging

Great question,
I see patients that are in your exact scenario everyday in my Manhattan practice.
I see excellent results with spinal decompression.
I use the DRX 9000 spinal decompression system.
When injections don't work anymore and PT aggravates the condition it is time to get serious.
The disc actually heal with time if the blood flow can return to the disc. Spinal decompression allows the discs to be nourished with blood.
If you have time I recently posted a great introduction on my website it is called virtual decompression-Spinal decompression overview.
