Why can I move my head right or left after my neck cracked by accident while I was stretching?  Why am I experiencing excrutiating pain when I move my head?

Chances are good that you have a meniscoid entrapment, which is the surrounding membrane of the hinge in your neck.   It's LOADED witgh nerve endings, and we often cal it THE STORM CENTER OF THE SPINE!  because it can hurt so much.

The default person to see is your chiropractor, someone who can "unstick" these two hinges.  I would recommend heat for pain reduction. Traction of your neck often helps, too.   This is a case of a miracle about to occur... once you get this fixed the pain is almost immediately reduced.  It also has a tendency to come back... sorry.
