Supplemental insurance company

Question
Dear Dr., I was hit in the rear receiving a grade III whiplash.  My supplemental insurance for disability claims is now denying my claim after 3 months saying I have a intervertebral disk condition, which is supposedly excluded.  I have ligament damage.  Is ligament damage not covered, as they say, if the ligaments are considered as the spine?  A disk "condition" should isolate to the disk, not my ligaments in my neck, right?  Insurance just ducking out to save a claim payment?  What can I do?  It does not seem right when I am not able to return to work due to employer not wanting an injured employee back that an insurance company can be so cruel.  Expensive premiums but they (Allstate) do not want to pay.  Beauiful sales, sorry delivery on promises.  Please help advise.  Thank you.

Answer
Daniel,
I apologize but I do not answer questions on insurance, I do however answer questions regarding your health.  If you have a question for me about the best form of care, or how to get well, I will be glad to answer that for you.
Yours in Best Health,
Dr Rob Arnone
