Question
I am having muscle spasms in my buttox on left & right sides.  I am having numbness in right foot 2nd, 3rd, 4th toes.
I have a tingly sensation in left foot 2nd, 3rd, 4th toes.

This is week 4.

I have been performing extensions per chiropractic advisement, and have been utilizing ice treaments multiple times a day.  In addition I have been receiving ultrasound, and utilizing electric stim.

Are my toes going to be numb and tingly forever?
Will the spasms eventually subside?

Thanks,
George

Answer
It sounds like you are the right track with the treatments, ice and ultrasounds are great.  The tingling and numbness can take a while to go away, depending on the amount of damage that was done to the nerve.  I would ask the chiropractor about doing PIR to the piriformis muscle and the glute muscles to lengthen those muscles.  If you have any other questions or concerns please email me.
