Question
I am on my feet 8hrs a day,my pain is on the top of my feet.from base of ankle to over the top of my feet.it is a nagging, and sometimes sharp pain when i stand. What can i do to ease this pain.I can hardly walk without feeling the pain.I am not on any type of prescription meds. of any sort.

Answer
Hi Glenda,

It sounds like you are straining your foot tendons and joints.  This can be from overuse and being on your feet all day.  I would see a podiatrist for a custom orthotic.  I would consider changing shoes if necessary.  The arch support will be the key.
