Question
My daughter was born missing three toe nails on her left foot, and those toes
are smaller than the toes on her other foot, she has never cared until now!
Girls on her dance team are calling her toes weird and ugly and she comes
home crying and now hates her toes and is afraid of anyone seeing them.  Is
there any treatment that can help a six year old girls and her mother's heart
from breaking?

Answer
Hi Renee,

This is a tough situation as kids can be so cruel.  There are reconstructive surgeries that can be performed for lengthening of the toes.  You will need to find a podiatrist in your area and discuss the problem.  They will need to have experience with this type of surgery.  Good Luck.
