Does she do any typing or repetitive motions?  She may have a type of strain/sprain called a repetitive motion injury.  A good chiropractor should be able to asses it, determine if there is anything more serious that she would need to see an M.D. for, treat it and set you up in a good rehab program.

docter could you posibly tell me what is it and the cure for that as she is in pain and the swelling is still there

ANSWER: You did not mention pregnancy in your original post, so I would suggest checking with your OB/GYN to rule out increased protein being excreted in the urine.  My wife had the same thing, and it turned out to be pre-ecclampsia, which would be for your OB/GYN to help.  My wife started with swelling and pain in the hands, but everything turned normal.
Hope this helps.

Answer
It sounds as if he may have what is called plantar Fasciitis.  That is an inflammation of the soft tissues on the bottom of the foot.  He can take a tennis ball, set it on the floor, and roll his foot back and forth on it about 5 minutes each foot once a day.  That will help stretch the tissues and help take out the inflammation.
