Pain after sleeping

Question
When I wake up in the morning, I usually feel pain near the sternum of my chest.  After a bit of stretching or as the day goes by the pain subsides.  I feel the pain more in my bones when i stretch so I know that it isn't internal.  It seems more intense if I sleep a certain way but I am unable to pin point it.  Would a chiropractor be able to properly diagnose me or would i have to refer to a different specialist.

Answer
Omar,

Thanks for the question.

Given the type of pain you are experiencing, deep in the chest, I would recommend that you see your medical doctor for evaluation first.  If they cannot find anything, then you can see your chiropractor.
