Question
im 41 years old and i drive for a living and i just notice sometimes im achy and sore for not much reason at all also my body feels tight and although no back pain persay i feel as if i always have to hunch over or when sitting on subway train put my feet up to feel comfortable i dont work out could that be it or am i just getting old?Whats your take on this?

Answer
Dear Nes,

41 is not old.  There typically are causes for lower back pain, the most common of which are mechanical issues. These include joint fixation, muscle tightness/spasm, postural issues, etc.  You need to consult with a local chiropractor and/or MD.  An MD typically will not be the good choice for treatment, but they are a better choice for ruling out more severe medical condtions.  The chiropractor is typically better for treatment of your back pain.

Good luck,
