Question
Dear David:

My 22 yr old daughter experienced a problem when  she went to the dentist to have a cavity filled.  When she opened her jaw too far it got dislocated.  This happened twice in two visits several weeks apart.  He took x-rays, but now has prescribed having an MRI taken.  Can you give any advice into why she needs an MRI and what it might show.  She is scared to death that they are looking for some serious medical problem like a tumor or something.  I am searching for some reassurance that he is just using the MRI to get a better look at how her jawbones fit together.

Thanks for your response.

Answer
Jeff:

I hope this answer is not too late, I have been at a seminar on this subject for the last 4 days.

I doubt if the dentist or medical doctor is looking for how the jawbone fits to the earbone, they are not ususally aware of the need for a proper fit.

But they are not looking for a tumour. They are looking for a torn ligament or a slipped cartilage in the joint.

The Jaw Joint reactd directly to the condition of the joint where the hip bone hooks to the backbone. I know that is a new concept, but it is the absolute God's truth.

You daughter needs to see a good chiropractor who can reset her joint where the hip bone hooks to the backbone and then restet the jaw joint and all will be well. Ask the dentist for a referral.

Or let me know if you would like a referral in your area.
